My Cats is designed to help you store and organize information about your cats. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app processes and how it is used.
The app may store information you choose to enter, including a cat's name, photo, date of birth, health information, medications, calendar events, diary entries, documents, photos, food preferences, personality, ID card details, and other information about the cat.
Data is stored on your device and may, when iCloud is available and enabled, be synchronized using Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services. The app does not create a separate developer-operated user account.
Your use of iCloud is also subject to Apple's own terms and privacy policies.
If you choose to share a cat with another person, the app uses Apple's CloudKit sharing features. Only people you invite can gain access to shared information. Participants may be able to update shared data according to the features available in the app.
Photos and documents you add are used only as part of the cat's content in the app. The app does not send this content to advertising or tracking networks.
If you enable notifications, the app may schedule local reminders, for example for medications or calendar events. Notifications are handled by your device and Apple's notification system.
My Cats may offer a one-time purchase for Pro features. Payments and purchase history are handled by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not receive your payment card details.
The app does not use third-party advertising networks and is not designed to track you across apps or websites.
If you use backup or export features, files are created and you choose where they are stored or shared. You are responsible for how exported files are handled after they leave the app.
Data is retained while it remains in the app and, where applicable, in iCloud. You can delete content from within the app. For shared content, some information may remain with other participants or in Apple's cloud services until sharing is ended or the data is removed there.
The app is not designed to collect personal information about children. Users decide what information they enter into the app.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the app or its data practices change. The updated date will be shown at the top of this page.
